Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MAP6 (Microtubule Associated Protein 6) is a key protein involved in the stabilization and organization of microtubules within neurons, playing a crucial role in maintaining cellular structure and function. Research into MAP6 has gained significant traction due to its implications in neurodevelopmental processes and neurodegenerative diseases. The protein is known to influence microtubule dynamics, which are essential for neuronal transport and signal transduction. Abnormalities in MAP6 expression or function have been associated with various neurological disorders, including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, highlighting its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target. Recent advancements in protein engineering techniques, such as recombinant DNA technology, have facilitated the production of MAP6 fusion proteins, enabling in-depth studies of its structure and function. These recombinant proteins can be utilized in various experimental models to elucidate how MAP6 interactions affect microtubule stability and overall neuronal health. Understanding the mechanistic role of MAP6 may provide insights into therapeutic strategies for neurodegeneration and cognitive decline, making it a significant focus of contemporary neuroscience research.
