Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CALM2 (Calmodulin 2) is a vital calcium-binding protein involved in various cellular processes, including signal transduction, muscle contraction, and nerve impulse transmission. Recent research has highlighted the significance of CALM2 in several physiological and pathological conditions, particularly in the context of cardiac and neurological disorders. Mutations in the CALM2 gene have been associated with inherited arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death, underscoring its critical role in maintaining cardiac rhythm. Moreover, CALM2's interactions with various target proteins suggest it functions as a key modulator in calcium signaling pathways, influencing cellular responses to external stimuli. The study of CALM2 recombinant proteins has gained traction in the scientific community, providing insights into its structural properties and functional mechanisms. By exploring CALM2's interactions with other proteins and its role in different biological contexts, researchers aim to develop targeted therapies for conditions linked to CALM2 dysregulation. Understanding CALM2's functionality at the molecular level can facilitate the identification of biomarkers and potential therapeutic targets, which may lead to innovative strategies for treating cardiovascular and neurological diseases. This research not only contributes to the fundamental understanding of calcium signaling but also paves the way for advancements in clinical applications related to CALM2-associated disorders.
