Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CALB1, or calbindin 1, is a calcium-binding protein traditionally associated with various physiological processes, including neuronal signaling and muscle contraction. Emerging evidence suggests that CALB1 plays a crucial role in calcium homeostasis and neuroprotection, impacting various neurological disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease and multiple sclerosis. Recent studies have focused on the recombinant expression of CALB1 to further investigate its functional properties and potential therapeutic applications. The recombinant CALB1 protein is produced using biotechnology techniques, enabling researchers to study its interaction with other proteins and assess its role in cellular signaling pathways. This protein has garnered attention for its potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target due to its involvement in calcium-mediated processes. Understanding CALB1’s structure and function at a molecular level may provide insights into its regulatory mechanisms in both healthy and diseased states, paving the way for novel treatment strategies aimed at restoring calcium balance in neurological disorders.
