Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BLK (B-lymphoid kinase) is a protein tyrosine kinase that plays a crucial role in the signaling pathways of B cells, which are essential for the adaptive immune response. Research into BLK and its associated signaling mechanisms has gained prominence due to its involvement in various immunological processes and potential links to autoimmune diseases and B cell malignancies. In particular, mutations or dysregulation of BLK have been implicated in conditions such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and certain types of lymphomas, highlighting its significance in both health and disease. Understanding the structure, function, and regulatory mechanisms of BLK may provide insights into its role in cellular signaling and tumorigenesis, thereby offering potential therapeutic targets for immunological disorders and cancer. Advances in molecular biology techniques and bioinformatics have facilitated in-depth exploration of BLK interactions and pathways, paving the way for innovative approaches to manipulate its activity for therapeutic benefits. Consequently, ongoing research endeavors are focused on elucidating BLK's precise functions and its potential as a biomarker or target in the treatment of B cell-related diseases, emphasizing the importance of this protein in the field of immunology and oncology.
