Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BAP18 (B Cell Activation Protein 18) is a protein that has garnered significant attention in immunology and molecular biology due to its role in modulating immune responses. It is primarily associated with B cells, which are crucial components of the adaptive immune system responsible for antibody production. Research has shown that BAP18 can influence B cell activation, proliferation, and differentiation, making it essential for understanding humoral immunity. The investigation into recombinant BAP18 protein has been motivated by its potential therapeutic applications in immune-related disorders, such as autoimmune diseases and immunodeficiencies. By producing and characterizing recombinant BAP18, scientists aim to elucidate its functional mechanisms, explore its interactions with other immune cells, and assess its capability to enhance or regulate immune responses. This research is pivotal for developing targeted therapies and vaccines that could improve clinical outcomes in patients suffering from various immunological disorders. Overall, the study of BAP18 and its recombinant forms offers valuable insights into B cell biology and the immune system as a whole, highlighting its significance in both fundamental research and clinical applications.
