Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SCGB1C1 (Secretoglobin family 1C member 1) is a protein belonging to the secretoglobin superfamily, which plays a significant role in various biological processes, including lung function, immune response, and inflammatory regulation. Initial studies have suggested that SCGB1C1 is expressed in various tissues, particularly in the respiratory system, where it may be involved in the modulation of airway inflammation and host defense mechanisms. Given its potential involvement in respiratory diseases, including asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), researchers have focused on the functional characterization and potential therapeutic applications of recombinant SCGB1C1. The production of recombinant SCGB1C1 allows for detailed studies of its biochemical properties, interaction with other molecules, and its role in disease pathophysiology. Furthermore, understanding the structure-function relationship of SCGB1C1 may pave the way for developing novel biomarkers or therapeutic targets. As interest in protein therapeutics grows, the study of SCGB1C1's reactivity and functionality in vivo represents a promising avenue for advancing our knowledge of pulmonary health and disease management.
