稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PLIN5 (Perilipin 5) is a member of the perilipin family of proteins, primarily associated with lipid droplets in cells and playing a crucial role in lipid metabolism and energy homeostasis. Research on PLIN5 has garnered significant interest due to its involvement in various metabolic processes, including lipolysis and fatty acid oxidation, particularly in muscle and liver tissues. Its expression is closely linked to conditions such as obesity, insulin resistance, and type 2 diabetes. The ability of PLIN5 to modulate fat storage and mobilization makes it a potential therapeutic target for metabolic diseases. Scientists have been exploring the functional roles and mechanisms of PLIN5 through the generation of recombinant proteins to study its structure-function relationships, interactions with lipid droplets, and regulatory pathways. These studies can provide insights into the potential of PLIN5 as a biomarker for metabolic disorders and facilitate the development of novel strategies for the treatment of obesity-related conditions. Overall, the investigation of PLIN5 and its recombinant forms offers valuable perspectives on lipid metabolism and its implications for health and disease.
