Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ANGPTL2, or Angiopoietin-like protein 2, is a secreted protein that plays a significant role in various physiological and pathological processes, including inflammation, obesity, and cardiovascular diseases. Initially identified as a protein involved in angiogenesis, ANGPTL2 has been linked to metabolic disorders and insulin resistance, making it a crucial target for research in diabetes and related conditions. Studies have shown that elevated levels of ANGPTL2 correlate with adverse metabolic profiles and inflammatory responses. As a result, the recombinant protein has become a focus of investigation for its potential as a therapeutic target and biomarker. Researchers have been exploring ways to produce and characterize recombinant ANGPTL2 to better understand its mechanisms of action and interaction with other cellular pathways. This research aims to elucidate the role of ANGPTL2 in disease processes and to evaluate its suitability as a target for new therapeutic strategies aimed at mitigating metabolic diseases and their complications. By leveraging advances in recombinant DNA technology and protein expression systems, scientists are working towards a deeper understanding of ANGPTL2's biological functions and its implications in human health.
