Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ANGPT1 (Angiopoietin-1) is a key regulator of angiogenesis and vascular integrity, playing an essential role in blood vessel formation and stabilization. It functions primarily by binding to the Tie2 receptor on endothelial cells, promoting their survival and enhancing the junctions between them, which is crucial for maintaining vascular permeability. Dysregulation of ANGPT1 signaling has been implicated in various pathologies, including cancer, where angiogenesis is often upregulated, and cardiovascular diseases characterized by vascular instability. Research into recombinant ANGPT1 protein has gained momentum due to its potential therapeutic applications. By producing ANGPT1 through recombinant DNA techniques, scientists can investigate its effects in controlled environments, explore its mechanisms of action, and evaluate its efficacy in treating conditions associated with aberrant angiogenesis. Furthermore, ANGPT1 is being studied for its ability to promote tissue repair and regeneration in models of ischemia and injury. Understanding the properties and functionalities of recombinant ANGPT1 not only aids in elucidating its biological role but also paves the way for developing novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating angiogenesis in various diseases. The growing interest in ANGPT1 reflects its promise as a target for drug development, underscoring the importance of continuing research in this area to fully leverage its beneficial effects in clinical applications.
