Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Caspase-9 (CASP9) is an essential enzyme involved in the intrinsic apoptotic pathway, which plays a critical role in programmed cell death necessary for maintaining cellular homeostasis and development. Dysregulation of CASP9 activity has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and autoimmune diseases, making it a significant target for therapeutic intervention. The study of recombinant CASP9 protein is crucial for understanding the mechanistic details of apoptosis and its regulation, as well as for developing potential drugs that can modulate its activity. Recombinant protein technology allows for the expression and purification of CASP9 in sufficient quantities for biochemical assays, structural studies, and functional analysis. By investigating the structure-function relationship of CASP9 and its interactions with other apoptotic regulators, researchers aim to elucidate its role in apoptosis and how it can be harnessed or inhibited in disease contexts. Furthermore, understanding CASP9 dynamics may lead to the identification of novel biomarkers for early disease diagnosis or prognostication. Overall, research on recombinant CASP9 protein is a promising avenue that holds potential for both basic biological insights and innovative therapeutic strategies.
