Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GLIS3, a member of the GLI-similar protein family, is a transcription factor that plays a pivotal role in various biological processes, including cellular differentiation, development, and metabolism. Initially identified for its involvement in the regulation of insulin signaling and the development of pancreatic beta cells, GLIS3 has garnered significant attention in the context of diabetes and other metabolic disorders. Mutations in the GLIS3 gene have been linked to a rare genetic condition known as Neonatal Diabetes Mellitus, highlighting its essential role in glucose homeostasis. Beyond its implications in diabetes, recent studies have begun to uncover its broader functions in stem cell biology and organ development. Given its multifaceted roles, the development and characterization of GLIS3 recombinant proteins facilitate the exploration of its intricate signaling pathways and interactions with other cellular molecules. Such studies could provide insights into the potential therapeutic applications of GLIS3, particularly in regenerative medicine and the treatment of endocrine disorders. Understanding its structure and function through recombinant protein studies could pave the way for novel interventions aimed at modulating GLIS3 activity, ultimately contributing to the development of targeted therapies for metabolic diseases.
