Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GGT6, or gamma-glutamyltransferase 6, is a member of the gamma-glutamyltransferase family, which plays a crucial role in amino acid metabolism and the maintenance of cellular glutathione levels, a vital antioxidant. The interest in GGT6 has surged due to its potential involvement in several pathological conditions, including cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and metabolic disorders. Recent studies suggest that GGT6 may influence tumor progression by modulating the extracellular microenvironment, thus impacting cancer cell survival and proliferation. Moreover, the enzyme's activity is linked to the regulation of various signaling pathways, highlighting its potential as a biomarker for disease states and a target for therapeutic intervention. Given the importance of GGT6 in health and disease, the investigation of its recombinant protein is essential for elucidating its functional roles and mechanisms. Producing a recombinant GGT6 protein allows researchers to perform detailed biochemical and structural studies, paving the way for the development of specific inhibitors or modulators. Furthermore, understanding GGT6's structure-function relationship can facilitate drug discovery efforts and therapeutic strategies aimed at correcting dysregulated GGT activity in various diseases. Thus, the exploration of GGT6 recombinant protein represents a significant advancement in biomedical research with promising implications for understanding its biological roles and therapeutic potentials.
