  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

GLE1 is a gene that encodes a protein critical for various cellular processes, particularly in the context of RNA metabolism and transport. It is known to be involved in the regulation of mRNA export from the nucleus to the cytoplasm, functioning as a key component of the RNA export machinery. The importance of GLE1 has been highlighted in studies linking its mutations to various diseases, including certain types of neurological disorders and cancers. Research into GLE1 recombinant protein has gained traction due to its potential role as a biomarker or therapeutic target. Understanding the structure and function of the GLE1 protein can provide insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying these diseases and open avenues for innovative treatment strategies. Additionally, the production of recombinant GLE1 allows for detailed biochemical studies, including interactions with other proteins and nucleic acids, further elucidating its role in cellular processes. Given the integral functions of GLE1 in maintaining cellular homeostasis and its implications in pathology, it has emerged as a focal point for investigating novel therapeutic interventions and advancing our understanding of RNA biology in health and disease.
