Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GIMAP8, a member of the GIMAP (GTPase of immunity-associated proteins) family, has garnered significant interest due to its role in immune responses and lymphocyte development. As an evolutionary conserved protein, GIMAP8 is primarily expressed in lymphoid tissues and plays a crucial role in regulating apoptosis and cell survival in T cells. Dysfunctions in GIMAP8 have been implicated in various immunological disorders, particularly autoimmunity and lymphocyte malignancies. Recent studies highlight its potential as a regulatory molecule in immune signaling pathways, making it a target for therapeutic interventions. Understanding GIMAP8 at the molecular level, particularly through the study of its recombinant protein, can provide valuable insights into its functional mechanisms and interactions within the immune system, thus contributing to the development of novel strategies for treating immune-related diseases. With advances in recombinant protein production techniques, comprehensive analysis of GIMAP8's structure and function is paving the way for new discoveries in immunology and related therapeutic applications.
