Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GAPVD1, also known as GTPase-activating protein for Rho family, is a crucial protein involved in regulating Rho GTPases, which are pivotal in controlling various cellular processes, including signaling pathways, cell morphology, and motility. Research into GAPVD1 has gained momentum due to its potential implications in cancer biology and other diseases. Studies have shown that GAPVD1 is overexpressed in several cancer types, suggesting a role in tumorigenesis and metastasis, making it a target of interest for cancer therapeutics. Additionally, GAPVD1 has been linked to the modulation of the cytoskeleton and intracellular trafficking, further underscoring its significance in cell biology. The recombinant production of GAPVD1 protein facilitates the exploration of its biochemical properties, interaction partners, and functional mechanisms. By employing techniques such as recombinant DNA technology, researchers can obtain purified GAPVD1, enabling in vitro studies and assays that elucidate its role in Rho GTPase signaling pathways. This research not only enhances our understanding of GAPVD1's function but also identifies potential therapeutic strategies to inhibit its activity in pathological conditions, particularly in aggressive tumors. Overall, the investigation of GAPVD1 represents a promising frontier in molecular biology and cancer research, with the potential to unravel novel insights into cellular dynamics and therapeutic approaches.
