Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GALNTL2 (Polypeptide N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase-like 2) is a member of the GALNT family of enzymes, known for their role in the addition of N-acetylgalactosamine (GalNAc) during the glycosylation process of proteins. Research into GALNTL2 has garnered interest due to its potential implications in cell signaling, cancer progression, and developmental processes. Unlike other GALNT enzymes, which primarily function as glycosyltransferases, GALNTL2 exhibits unique enzymatic characteristics that may influence glycoprotein stability and activity. Preliminary studies suggest that GALNTL2 may play a role in modulating the tumor microenvironment and immune response, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions in oncology. Furthermore, understanding the structure-function relationship of GALNTL2 through recombinant protein studies can provide insights into its biological functions and regulatory mechanisms. The recombinant expression of GALNTL2 not only facilitates the study of its enzymatic activity and substrate specificity but also aids in exploring its potential interactions with other proteins involved in glycosylation pathways. Consequently, ongoing research aims to delineate the role of GALNTL2 in various physiological and pathological contexts, ultimately contributing to a greater comprehension of its involvement in health and disease.
