Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GAPDS (Glyceraldehyde-3-Phosphate Dehydrogenase, Somatic) is an important enzyme involved in the glycolytic pathway, catalyzing the conversion of glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate to 1,3-bisphosphoglycerate while reducing NAD+ to NADH. Unlike its more extensively studied counterpart, GAPDH, which plays a significant role in various cellular processes beyond metabolism, GAPDS has been less characterized. Recent studies suggest that GAPDS may have unique regulatory functions in cellular metabolism and may contribute to tumorigenesis and other diseases, positioning it as a potential therapeutic target. The production and characterization of recombinant GAPDS protein are critical for elucidating its biochemical properties and functional roles in cellular pathways. Recombinant technology allows for the generation of purified GAPDS, facilitating in-depth studies of its structure, enzymatic activity, and interactions with other molecules. Understanding the specific mechanisms by which GAPDS operates could reveal novel insights into metabolic regulation and its potential implications in health and disease, making it a subject of growing interest in biochemical research.
