Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GAGE6, part of the GAGE gene family, encodes a type of cancer/testis (CT) antigen that is primarily expressed in germ cells and various tumor tissues but not in normal somatic cells, making it a promising target for immunotherapeutic approaches. The expression of GAGE6 in a range of malignancies suggests its potential role in tumor immunology and its promise as a biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. Research has increasingly focused on understanding the immunogenic properties of GAGE6, as well as its interactions with the immune system. Studies have investigated peptide-based vaccines aimed at eliciting a specific immune response against GAGE6-expressing tumors, leveraging the body’s immune recognition of this CT antigen. Additionally, the role of GAGE6 in promoting tumor growth and survival is under examination, shedding light on its functional implications in cancer pathogenesis. As a frequently targeted antigen in cancer immunotherapy, GAGE6’s ability to generate T-cell responses renders it a candidate for personalized vaccine development, contributing to advancements in targeted cancer treatments. The ongoing exploration of GAGE6’s mechanisms and therapeutic applications underscores its significance in the landscape of cancer immunology and the pursuit of innovative cancer treatments. Overall, the study of GAGE6 invites further investigation into its therapeutic potential and the optimization of immune responses against tumors, thereby providing hope for improved cancer management strategies.
