Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GAGE1 (G antigen 1) is a member of the GAGE family of cancer/testis antigens, which are primarily expressed in male germ cells and various tumors but are generally absent in normal adult tissues, making them promising targets for cancer immunotherapy. The interest in GAGE1 arises from its unique expression pattern, as it elicited an immune response in cancer patients, indicating its potential as a biomarker for tumor presence and progression. Studies have shown that GAGE1 can be recognized by the immune system, thus serving as a candidate for the development of vaccines and other immunotherapeutic strategies aimed at eliciting robust anti-tumor responses. The ability to produce recombinant GAGE1 protein allows researchers to further investigate its immunogenic properties, potential roles in cancer biology, and applications in immunotherapy. This protein can be utilized for the development of diagnostic tools and therapeutic interventions, driving research that enhances our understanding of tumor immunology and the mechanisms by which tumors evade immune recognition. As efforts continue to elucidate the precise functions and pathways associated with GAGE1, its role as a valuable tool in the fight against cancer becomes increasingly apparent, paving the way for innovative treatment modalities that leverage the body's immune system to combat malignancies effectively.
