Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PIBF1 (Progesterone-Induced Blocking Factor 1) is a significant protein that plays a critical role in immunological responses particularly during pregnancy. Identified as a key mediator of progesterone's immunomodulatory effects, PIBF1 helps maintain maternal tolerance towards the fetus, which is genetically distinct from the mother. This phenomenon is crucial for a successful pregnancy, as the maternal immune system must not reject the semi-allogeneic fetus. Research on PIBF1 has grown in recent years, focusing on its molecular mechanisms and potential therapeutic applications. Scientists have found that PIBF1 regulates several immune pathways, influencing cytokine production and T cell responses. Additionally, its dysregulation has been implicated in various reproductive disorders and adverse pregnancy outcomes, such as preeclampsia and recurrent miscarriage. Understanding the structural and functional properties of PIBF1 can pave the way for novel interventions in reproductive health. As a recombinant protein, PIBF1 can be produced in the lab for detailed studies on its biology and interactions, possibly leading to the development of new immunomodulatory therapies. Overall, the investigation of PIBF1 not only enhances our comprehension of immune tolerance during pregnancy but also opens avenues for addressing infertility and improving maternal-fetal health outcomes, making it a promising target for future research and clinical applications.
