Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CYLD (Cylindromatosis) is a tumor suppressor protein that plays a crucial role in regulating various cellular processes, including inflammation, cell growth, and apoptosis. Its function is primarily linked to the deubiquitination of target proteins, thereby altering their stability and activity within signaling pathways. Mutations and dysregulations of CYLD have been associated with several forms of cancer, particularly skin tumors like cylindromas, and have implications in other malignancies as well. Research into recombinant CYLD protein aims to elucidate its structure-function relationships and mechanisms of action, providing insights into its role in tumorigenesis and potential therapeutic applications. By studying the recombinant form of CYLD, researchers seek to understand how its manipulation could have therapeutic benefits, aiming to harness its deubiquitinating activity in a way that could modulate signaling pathways implicated in cancer. Additionally, exploring the interactions between CYLD and other signaling components may reveal novel targets for drug development and enhance our understanding of the cellular contexts in which CYLD operates. The increased understanding of CYLD's functions and its implications in cancer biology can ultimately contribute to the identification of new strategies for cancer treatment and prevention, making it an essential focus of ongoing biomedical research.
