Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NUP98 is a nucleoporin critical for the functioning of the nuclear pore complex, which plays a vital role in nucleocytoplasmic transport, gene regulation, and maintaining genome stability. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of NUP98 in various hematological malignancies, particularly its involvement in chromosomal translocations that lead to fusion proteins associated with leukemia. These fusion proteins often result in altered gene expression and cellular functions, contributing to oncogenesis. NUP98 fusions, such as NUP98-HOXA9, are known to disrupt normal hematopoietic differentiation and self-renewal processes, making them significant markers for the diagnosis and prognosis of certain leukemias. The elucidation of NUP98's role in these fusion events has bolstered interest in its structural and functional properties, driving research into targeted therapies. Additionally, NUP98 is implicated in developmental processes and cellular responses to stress, revealing its potential influence beyond malignancies. Investigating the mechanisms by which NUP98 and its fusion partners affect cellular dynamics and gene expression can provide deeper insights into both normal cellular functions and the pathogenesis of diseases, leading to innovative therapeutic strategies that leverage this knowledge for better clinical outcomes. Thus, NUP98 stands out as a key player in both fundamental biology and clinical oncology, prompting ongoing research into its complex roles and potential as a therapeutic target.
