  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

USO1, a member of the early secretory pathway proteins, plays a crucial role in the transport of proteins from the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) to the Golgi apparatus. This protein is integral to maintaining cellular homeostasis and ensuring efficient protein maturation and sorting. Research has increasingly highlighted the significance of USO1 in various physiological processes, including cell proliferation, apoptosis, and immune response, as well as its potential implications in different diseases, ranging from metabolic disorders to cancer. Recent studies have shown that mutations or dysregulation of USO1 can lead to severe cellular dysfunctions, indicating its importance in disease mechanisms. Furthermore, USO1's interaction with other cellular components suggests a complex regulatory network that may be targeted for therapeutic developments. Given the critical role of USO1 in cellular trafficking and its broader implications in health and disease, exploring its functional mechanisms and regulatory pathways is of significant interest in molecular biology and biomedical research. This understanding may pave the way for novel approaches in disease treatment or prevention strategies based on the modulation of USO1 activity or expression.
