  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TCF20 (T-cell factor 20) is a member of the TCF/LEF (T-cell factor/Lymphoid-enhancing factor) transcription factor family, which plays a pivotal role in regulating gene expression during various biological processes, particularly in development and cellular differentiation. Recent studies have highlighted TCF20's involvement in important cellular pathways, including Wnt signaling, which is crucial for stem cell maintenance and differentiation, and its implications in cancer biology, particularly in the maintenance of cancer stem cells. The overexpression or dysregulation of TCF20 has been associated with various malignancies, making it a target of interest for therapeutic strategies. Additionally, TCF20 is implicated in cellular responses to external stimuli and stress, further showcasing its potential as a biomarker for different diseases. Given its multifunctional roles, there is a growing interest in the production and characterization of recombinant TCF20 protein to elucidate its functional mechanisms and interactions at the molecular level. The ability to produce TCF20 as a recombinant protein will facilitate high-throughput screening for potential inhibitors or modulators, and contribute to a deeper understanding of its biological roles and how it may be targeted in therapeutic applications, particularly in cancer treatment. Such research is vital in translating basic scientific knowledge into clinical solutions, providing insights that could enhance drug development and improve patient outcomes.
