Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TKL2 (Thymidine Kinase-Like 2) is a member of the thymidine kinase family, which plays a crucial role in nucleotide metabolism and the salvage pathway for DNA synthesis. Research on TKL2 has gained attention due to its potential implications in various biological processes and pathological conditions, including cancer and viral infections. Unlike other thymidine kinases, TKL2 exhibits unique substrate specificity and activity, which raises questions about its functional roles in cellular metabolism and its possible involvement in disease mechanisms. Understanding the biological significance of TKL2 is essential not only for elucidating the pathways of nucleotide metabolism but also for exploring its potential as a therapeutic target or biomarker. Recent studies have focused on characterizing its enzymatic properties, expression patterns, and regulatory mechanisms. Moreover, exploring TKL2's interactions with other cellular components can provide insights into its functional relevance in cancer cell proliferation and viral replication. As research progresses, TKL2 is being investigated for its potential applications in diagnostics and therapeutics, making it a significant focus in molecular biology and pharmacology.
