Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ZW10 is a crucial component of the mitotic checkpoint machinery, which plays a significant role in ensuring accurate chromosome segregation during cell division. The research surrounding ZW10 has gained considerable attention due to its involvement in the coordination between kinetochores and the spindle apparatus, thereby preventing aneuploidy, a condition linked to various cancers and genetic disorders. Recent studies have highlighted that ZW10 functions as a part of the DASH complex and interacts with other proteins, such as Rod and Zwilch, to facilitate the proper alignment of chromosomes on the mitotic spindle. Moreover, the dynamics of ZW10 are affected by various post-translational modifications, which regulate its activity and stability during different cell cycle phases. Investigating the structure and function of ZW10, particularly through the use of recombinant protein techniques, allows researchers to explore its mechanistic pathways and potential interactions with other cell cycle regulators. Understanding ZW10's contributions to mitotic progression and its dysregulation in disease states offers promising avenues for therapeutic interventions aimed at cancer treatment and other cellular dysfunctions. Consequently, the study of ZW10 as a recombinant protein not only furthers our understanding of fundamental cellular processes but also positions it as a potential target for innovative biotechnology applications and drug development.
