Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BFSP1 (Brain and Fatty Acid Binding Protein 1) is a crucial protein predominantly expressed in the brain and involved in fatty acid transport, signaling, and metabolism. Its significance has gained attention due to its role in various neurological and metabolic disorders, including obesity and neurodegenerative diseases. Research has highlighted BFSP1 as a potential biomarker for certain conditions, reflecting the interplay between brain function and metabolic processes. The recombinant expression of BFSP1 aims to facilitate a deeper understanding of its structural and functional characteristics, enabling the exploration of its mechanisms in fatty acid binding and transport within neural tissues. By employing recombinant DNA technology, researchers can generate large quantities of pure BFSP1 protein, which is essential for conducting functional assays, crystallography, and other biochemical studies. This approach provides insights into its role in cellular metabolism, interactions with lipids, and potential implications in disease pathology. The comprehensive analysis of recombinant BFSP1 can pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies targeting the underlying mechanisms of brain and metabolic disorders, thereby contributing to advancements in medical science and potential interventions for affected individuals.
