Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FGFBP2 (Fibroblast Growth Factor Binding Protein 2) is a glycoprotein that plays a crucial role in regulating the activity of fibroblast growth factors (FGFs), which are important for various biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and angiogenesis. The interest in FGFBP2 has grown due to its involvement in developmental biology and its potential implications in disease states, particularly in cancer progression and metastasis. Research has shown that FGFBP2 can modulate FGF signaling pathways, influencing tumor growth and vascularization. Moreover, aberrant expression of FGFBP2 has been linked to various malignancies, making it a potential biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. Understanding the structural and functional characteristics of FGFBP2, particularly through the study of recombinant FGFBP2 proteins, can provide insights into its interactions with FGFs and contribute to the development of targeted therapies. The generation of recombinant FGFBP2 allows for the exploration of its biological functions in vitro and in vivo, offering a pathway to elucidate its role in health and disease. Overall, the study of FGFBP2 serves as a vital area of research with the potential to unveil novel therapeutic targets and strategies for managing diseases characterized by dysregulated FGF signaling.
