Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FERMT3 (fermitin family member 3), also known as KINDLIN-3, is a key regulatory protein involved in integrin activation and subsequently plays a crucial role in cell adhesion, migration, and signaling processes. Its significance has been underscored in various biological contexts, including immune response, hematopoiesis, and developmental processes. Mutations in the FERMT3 gene are linked to disorders such as leukocyte adhesion deficiency syndrome type III, which highlights its essential role in immune cell function and adhesion. Recent studies have focused on the structural and functional characterization of FERMT3, especially in its role as a crucial mediator in the focal adhesion complex and integrin signaling pathways. Recombinant FERMT3 protein has become an important tool for investigating its mechanisms in cell biology, potentially aiding in the development of targeted therapies for conditions involving impaired cell adhesion and migration. Through the study of FERMT3, researchers aim to unveil its intricate interactions with integrins and other signaling molecules, thereby shedding light on its multifaceted roles in health and disease. Understanding FERMT3’s function at the molecular level could lead to novel insights into therapeutic strategies for immune-related pathologies and other associated diseases, making it a significant focus of current biomedical research.
