Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FERMT1, also known as fermitin family member 1, is a protein that plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including cell adhesion, migration, and signaling. This protein is particularly significant in the context of epidermal differentiation and has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer. Research has shown that FERMT1 is involved in the regulation of integrin signaling pathways, which are essential for maintaining cellular structures and facilitating communication between cells and their extracellular matrix. Its dysregulation has been associated with tumor progression and metastasis, making it a potential biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. Additionally, FERMT1's role in immunological responses and its interactions with other proteins in the cell further underscore its importance in both physiological and pathological processes. The study of FERMT1 as a recombinant protein is essential for understanding its function at a molecular level, as well as for exploring its potential as a therapeutic target. By producing and characterizing FERMT1 through recombinant DNA technology, researchers aim to elucidate its structural features, interaction partners, and biological implications, paving the way for the development of targeted treatments that could inhibit its pro-tumorigenic effects or enhance its beneficial roles in cell signaling and adhesion.
