Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FCHO2, or FCH domain only protein 2, is a critical protein involved in the process of endocytosis and membrane trafficking. It plays a pivotal role in clathrin-mediated endocytosis, wherein it is responsible for the recruitment and assembly of clathrin-coated vesicles, thereby facilitating the internalization of various membrane proteins and receptors into cells. The study of FCHO2's function is essential for understanding cellular mechanisms that govern nutrient uptake, signal transduction, and the recycling of membrane components. Abnormalities in endocytic pathways involving FCHO2 have been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Given its significance in cellular physiology, researchers have focused on characterizing the structural features and functional dynamics of FCHO2. Recent efforts to produce recombinant FCHO2 protein have aimed to provide insights into its complex interactions with other proteins and lipids, revealing how these interactions influence endocytosis and other related cellular processes. By elucidating the role of FCHO2 in endocytosis, scientists hope to unveil potential therapeutic targets for treating diseases linked to dysfunctional membrane trafficking. The investigation of FCHO2 not only enhances our knowledge of basic biological processes but also paves the way for innovative approaches in drug development and molecular therapies.
