Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LMNB2, or Lamin B2, is a crucial protein that plays a significant role in maintaining the structural integrity and functionality of the nuclear envelope in eukaryotic cells. It is part of the lamin family of proteins, which form a dense fibrillar network underneath the inner membrane of the nuclear envelope, providing mechanical support and influencing various nuclear processes such as chromatin organization, gene expression, and DNA replication. Research into LMNB2 has gained importance due to its association with various diseases, including certain types of muscular dystrophies and laminopathies, which are caused by mutations in genes encoding lamins. Understanding the biochemical properties, structural composition, and functional mechanisms of LMNB2 is essential for elucidating its role in cellular processes and its implications in disease. By studying the recombinant forms of LMNB2, researchers aim to uncover insights into its interactions with other nuclear components, its impact on cellular signaling pathways, and its potential as a therapeutic target. Additionally, recombinant LMNB2 proteins allow for the investigation of post-translational modifications and their effects on protein function, aiding in the development of predictive models for lamin-related disorders. With advancements in techniques such as X-ray crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy, the detailed structural analysis of LMNB2 can provide deeper insights into its functional dynamics within the nucleus, fostering a greater understanding of its role in cellular health and disease. Overall, the study of LMNB2 and its recombinant proteins holds the potential to significantly impact our knowledge of nuclear biology and related pathologies.
