Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FBXO8 is a member of the F-box protein family, which plays a critical role in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, a key pathway for protein degradation and regulation within cells. This protein is characterized by an F-box motif that allows it to interact with Skp1 and form part of the SCF (Skp1-Cullin-F-box) ubiquitin ligase complex. Research into FBXO8 has shown that it is involved in various cellular processes, including cell cycle regulation, apoptosis, and signal transduction. Dysregulation of FBXO8 has been implicated in several diseases, particularly cancer, where its abnormal expression can affect the stability and function of numerous target proteins. Studying the recombinant form of FBXO8 enables a deeper understanding of its functional mechanisms, interactions, and potential roles in disease states. Moreover, by expressing and purifying FBXO8 in a controlled environment, researchers can explore its structural properties, substrate specificity, and biochemical activity, providing insights into how FBXO8 contributes to pathological conditions and serving as a potential therapeutic target. The investigation of FBXO8 also raises the possibility of therapeutic interventions aimed at modulating its activity, thereby influencing tumor progression and response to treatment. The increasing interest in the ubiquitin-proteasome system as a target for cancer therapy highlights the significance of FBXO8 research, making it a crucial focus for further studies in cellular biology and medicinal chemistry.
