Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FBXO5, also known as F-box only protein 5, is a member of the F-box family of proteins, which play a crucial role in the ubiquitin-proteasome system by acting as substrates for the SCF (SKP1-CUL1-F-box protein) ubiquitin ligase complex. This complex is integral for regulating various cellular processes, including cell cycle progression, signal transduction, and transcription. FBXO5 is particularly important in the regulation of the G1–S phase transition of the cell cycle, where it mediates the degradation of specific cell cycle inhibitors. Abnormal expression of FBXO5 has been implicated in various cancers, making it a potential target for therapeutic intervention. Researchers are increasingly interested in the characterization of recombinant FBXO5 protein to elucidate its function, molecular interactions, and potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in oncology. The production of recombinant FBXO5 allows for in-depth studies on its activity and interactions with other cellular proteins, paving the way for novel cancer treatments and furthering our understanding of cell cycle regulation and tumorigenesis.
