Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TUBG2, a key member of the γ-tubulin family, plays a crucial role in microtubule organization and centrosome function, which are essential for proper cell division and maintenance of cellular architecture. Its importance has garnered attention due to its involvement in various cellular processes and potential links to diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Research has shown that TUBG2 is pivotal for nucleating microtubules at the centrosome, thus facilitating spindle assembly during mitosis. Given its functional significance, understanding the protein's structure and interactions is vital for elucidating the molecular mechanisms underpinning its role in cellular dynamics. Recombinant TUBG2 protein production offers a valuable tool for investigating the protein's biophysical properties, interaction partners, and regulatory mechanisms. By generating TUBG2 in a controlled environment, researchers can conduct detailed biochemical and biophysical assays, including binding studies and structural analyses, to gain insights into its functional mechanisms. Moreover, mapping the pathway through which TUBG2 influences microtubule dynamics could reveal novel therapeutic targets for mitigating diseases characterized by dysfunctional cell division. As such, the study of recombinant TUBG2 is not only instrumental in advancing our fundamental understanding of cellular biology but also holds potential for developing innovative strategies in disease intervention.
