Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MASP1, or MBL-associated serine protease 1, is a crucial enzyme in the lectin pathway of the complement system, which plays a vital role in the innate immune response. It is involved in the recognition and elimination of pathogens, contributing to host defense against infections. Research on MASP1 has gained momentum due to its implications in various diseases, including autoimmune disorders, infections, and even cancer, where dysregulation can lead to inadequate immune responses or tissue damage. The protein is known to interact with other components of the complement system, and its activity is essential for initiating and amplifying the immune response. Recombinant MASP1 proteins have become an important tool for studying its biological functions, interactions, and potential therapeutic applications. By producing MASP1 in recombinant systems, researchers can investigate its enzymatic mechanisms, regulate its activity, and explore its role in enhancing therapeutic strategies against infectious diseases and other immune-related conditions. Understanding the structure-function relationship of MASP1 through recombinant protein studies could pave the way for novel interventions and improve our knowledge of immune system regulation. The ongoing research not only focuses on the basic biochemical properties of MASP1 but also highlights its potential as a biomarker for immune-related diseases, aiming to facilitate early diagnosis and treatment strategies. Thus, the study of recombinant MASP1 represents a significant step forward in harnessing its therapeutic potential and understanding its role in health and disease.
