Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MASP2 (MBL-associated serine protease 2) is a crucial component of the lectin pathway of the complement system, playing a significant role in innate immunity. This protease is involved in the activation of complement proteins, contributing to opsonization and clearance of pathogens. Research surrounding MASP2 has gained momentum due to its implications in various diseases, including autoimmune disorders, infections, and inflammatory conditions. Understanding MASP2's structure and function is vital for elucidating its role in immune responses and pathophysiology. Furthermore, studies on recombinant MASP2 proteins have provided insights into its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and interactions with other complement components. These investigations pave the way for potential therapeutic applications, as targeting MASP2 could offer new strategies for modulating immune responses in disease settings. As a result, the recombinant production and characterization of MASP2 are essential for both basic research and clinical applications, enhancing our understanding of its role in health and disease.
