稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TRMU (tRNA 2-thiouridine methyltransferase) is an essential enzyme involved in the post-transcriptional modification of tRNA, specifically responsible for catalyzing the methylation and sulfurization of uridine to 2-thiouridine at position 34 of certain tRNAs. This modification plays a critical role in stabilizing tRNA structure and enhancing the accuracy of protein synthesis during translation. Deficiencies in TRMU have been associated with various mitochondrial disorders, linking its function to cellular metabolism and overall mitochondrial health. Given the enzyme's importance in maintaining tRNA integrity and function, research on TRMU has increased to better understand its mechanisms, explore its role in mitochondrial disease, and investigate its potential as a therapeutic target. Recent studies have also examined its evolutionary conservation across species, revealing insights into its functional significance in different biological contexts. By deciphering the structural and enzymatic properties of TRMU, researchers aim to illuminate the broader implications of tRNA modifications in gene expression and cellular adaptation, thereby shedding light on fundamental processes in molecular biology and potential applications in gene therapy and mitochondrial disease treatment.
