Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TRMT1 (tRNA methyltransferase 1) is an essential enzyme that plays a crucial role in tRNA maturation by catalyzing the methylation of specific adenine residues. This post-transcriptional modification is vital for maintaining the stability and efficiency of tRNA molecules, ultimately influencing protein synthesis and cellular function. Mutations in the TRMT1 gene have been linked to various human diseases, including neurological disorders and developmental abnormalities, highlighting the importance of understanding this enzyme's structure and function. Recent studies have focused on the recombinant expression and characterization of TRMT1, as obtaining sufficient amounts of pure protein is critical for in-depth biochemical and structural analyses. Through recombinant technology, researchers aim to elucidate the enzyme's active site, substrate specificity, and overall catalytic mechanism. This knowledge not only enhances our understanding of tRNA modification pathways but also paves the way for potential therapeutic approaches targeting TRMT1-related diseases. The ongoing exploration of TRMT1's role in cellular processes underscores the significance of this enzyme in both basic biology and clinical research, emphasizing the need for continued investigation into its properties and applications.
