Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FAM44A (Family with Sequence Similarity 44A) is a protein that has garnered attention in recent years due to its potential roles in cellular processes and disease mechanisms. Located on chromosome 1, FAM44A is involved in various biological functions, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and response to stress. Studies have suggested that FAM44A may play a critical role in the regulation of the cell cycle and apoptosis, making it a candidate for investigation in cancer research, where aberrant regulation of these processes is common. Additionally, FAM44A has been linked to several pathological conditions, including autoimmune diseases and neurological disorders, highlighting its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and tissue integrity. The recombinant expression of FAM44A provides an invaluable tool for elucidating its functional roles and interactions within the cellular environment. By producing FAM44A in a recombinant system, researchers can study its biochemical properties, post-translational modifications, and interactions with other proteins, facilitating the understanding of its mechanisms of action. Such studies may pave the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting FAM44A-related pathways in various diseases, particularly in oncology and immunology. The exploration of FAM44A as a biomarker or therapeutic target represents a promising frontier in biomedical research, underscoring the necessity for comprehensive investigations into its structure and function.
