Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GRIP1 (Glutamate Receptor Interacting Protein 1) is a PDZ domain-containing protein that plays a crucial role in synaptic transmission and signaling in the central nervous system. It is primarily involved in the trafficking and localization of glutamate receptors, particularly in modulating the function of AMPA and NMDA receptor subtypes. Research into GRIP1 has gained momentum due to its implications in various neurological disorders, including autism, schizophrenia, and Alzheimer's disease. Understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying GRIP1's interaction with glutamate receptors and its role in synaptic plasticity is essential for elucidating the pathophysiology of these disorders. The development of GRIP1 recombinant proteins has enabled scientists to investigate its structure-function relationships, facilitating the exploration of its potential as a therapeutic target. Recombinant GRIP1 proteins can be utilized in a variety of biochemical assays, structural biology studies, and cell-based assays to comprehensively analyze its interactions and effects on receptor dynamics. As research advances, GRIP1's involvement in neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative conditions continues to highlight its significance, with ongoing studies aiming to delineate its precise contributions and therapeutic potential in the context of brain health and disease.
