Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FAM117A, a member of the FAM (family with sequence similarity) gene family, has garnered attention in recent years due to its potential roles in various biological processes and diseases, including cancer. Research into FAM117A has revealed that it may be involved in cellular functions such as proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Its expression levels have been linked to several types of tumors, suggesting that it could serve as a potential biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. However, the precise molecular mechanisms underlying FAM117A's functions remain largely unclear, necessitating further investigation. The development of recombinant FAM117A proteins is crucial for elucidating its role in cellular signaling pathways and interactions with other proteins. By producing and characterizing these recombinant proteins, researchers aim to explore FAM117A's biochemical properties and its influence on cellular behavior. Advances in protein expression systems, alongside techniques like CRISPR-Cas9 and mass spectrometry, are poised to enhance our understanding of FAM117A's involvement in health and disease. Overall, the investigation of FAM117A recombinant proteins represents a significant step in unraveling the complexities of this gene and its potential implications in therapeutic interventions.
