  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TRA1 is a pivotal protein that plays a crucial role in the regulation of gene expression, particularly in stem cell biology and development. It is a member of the TAZ family and functions as a co-activator, interacting with various transcription factors to regulate the expression of genes essential for pluripotency and self-renewal. Research into TRA1 is particularly significant due to its implications in understanding stem cell pluripotency, cellular reprogramming, and potential applications in regenerative medicine and cancer therapy. Studies have shown that TRA1 is necessary for maintaining the undifferentiated state of embryonic stem cells and facilitating the transition of somatic cells back to a pluripotent state. As such, TRA1 continues to be the focus of investigations aiming to elucidate its molecular mechanisms, protein interactions, and the pathways it influences during cellular differentiation. The ongoing research on TRA1 not only enhances our understanding of fundamental biological processes but also holds promise for developing innovative therapeutic strategies for various diseases, including those associated with improper cell differentiation and growth.
