Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TPX2 (Targeting Protein for Xenopus Kinesin-like Protein 2) is a crucial protein involved in the orchestration of mitotic spindle assembly and chromosome alignment during cell division. It serves as a co-activator of the Aurora A kinase, thereby playing a pivotal role in regulating microtubule dynamics and ensuring proper mitosis. Dysregulation of TPX2 expression has been implicated in various cancers, as its overexpression is associated with tumor progression and poor prognosis. The study of TPX2 recombinantly expressed in various systems allows researchers to better understand its structural and functional properties, facilitating insights into its mechanistic role in cell division. By employing techniques such as protein crystallization and biophysical analyses, researchers aim to elucidate the binding interactions between TPX2 and its partners, providing a deeper understanding of its regulatory functions. Furthermore, exploring the potential of TPX2 as a therapeutic target presents a promising avenue for cancer treatment, highlighting the importance of ongoing research in understanding its dynamics and interactions within the cellular context.
