Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PNMA2 (Paraneoplastic Ma Antigen 2) is a protein associated with certain neurodegenerative diseases and paraneoplastic syndromes, particularly in the context of small cell lung cancer. Research into PNMA2 has gained traction due to its role in immune responses and potential involvement in the pathogenesis of neurological disorders. It has been identified as an onconeural antigen, which can elicit an autoimmune response in patients, leading to neurological symptoms. The study of PNMA2 is critical not only for understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying these diseases but also for developing potential diagnostic tools and therapeutic strategies. Recent advances in molecular biology and immunology have facilitated the characterization of PNMA2, including its structure, function, and interaction with other cellular components. By utilizing techniques such as recombinant protein expression and relevant antibody generation, researchers aim to elucidate the precise role of PNMA2 in disease development and progression. The exploration of PNMA2's functional implications may uncover new insights into targeted therapies for patients suffering from paraneoplastic neurological conditions and enhance our understanding of autoimmune responses in cancer-associated syndromes. Overall, the investigation of PNMA2 represents a promising avenue in the intersection of cancer research and neuroimmunology, with the potential for significant clinical impact.
