稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CAPN2, or calpain-2, is a member of the calpain family of calcium-dependent cysteine proteases which plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including signal transduction, cytoskeletal remodeling, and apoptosis. The significance of CAPN2 in cellular physiology has drawn considerable attention, particularly due to its involvement in various pathophysiological conditions such as neurodegenerative diseases, cardiovascular disorders, and certain types of cancer. Research into CAPN2 has revealed that it can influence protein degradation and cellular responses to stress, which makes it an attractive target for therapeutic interventions. Furthermore, the study of CAPN2 recombinant proteins has facilitated a deeper understanding of its enzymatic mechanisms and regulatory functions. The production of CAPN2 as a recombinant protein allows researchers to investigate its proteolytic activity in vitro and identify its substrates, contributing to the elucidation of its role in cellular contexts. Ongoing studies are focused on the modulation of CAPN2 activity, its interaction with other cellular proteins, and its potential as a biomarker for disease. Thus, the exploration of CAPN2 recombinant proteins not only enhances our knowledge of calpain biology but also paves the way for developing novel therapeutic strategies against diseases where calpain dysregulation is implicated.
