Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ATP2B2, also known as Plasma Membrane Calcium ATPase 2 (PMCA2), is an important member of the ATP2B family, responsible for the regulation of calcium homeostasis in cells. It is primarily expressed in various tissues, including the brain, heart, and skeletal muscles, where it plays a crucial role in maintaining intracellular calcium levels. Dysregulation of ATP2B2 has been implicated in several pathological conditions such as neurological disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and hearing impairments. Research on ATP2B2 recombinant protein aims to elucidate its functional mechanisms and regulatory pathways, as well as to explore its potential as a therapeutic target. By generating and characterizing recombinant ATP2B2, researchers can better understand its enzymatic properties, interaction with calcium ions, and modulation by various factors. Studies utilizing recombinant ATP2B2 also facilitate the development of high-throughput screening assays to identify small molecules or peptides that can enhance or inhibit its activity. This research not only sheds light on the fundamental biology of calcium signaling but also holds promise for the design of novel therapeutic interventions for diseases associated with dysregulated calcium transport.
