Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TOB2 (Transforming growth factor-beta and bone morphogenetic protein receptor-2) is a member of the Tob family of proteins, which play a crucial role in regulating cell proliferation and differentiation. Research on TOB2 has gained prominence due to its significant involvement in various cellular processes and its potential implications in cancer and other diseases. It functions as a transcriptional repressor, modulating signaling pathways that control gene expression in response to environmental stimuli. Aberrant regulation of TOB2 is associated with tumorigenesis, making it a potential biomarker for cancer diagnosis or prognosis. Furthermore, TOB2 has been implicated in the response to stress and developmental processes, such as embryogenesis and tissue regeneration. The study of recombinant TOB2 proteins has facilitated the understanding of its structure-function relationships and its interactions with other cellular components. By utilizing recombinant DNA technology, researchers can produce TOB2 in significant quantities, enabling detailed characterization and functional assays. This research not only enhances our understanding of TOB2's biological roles but also opens avenues for therapeutic development, as targeting TOB2's pathways might provide novel strategies for managing cancer and other disorders where TOB2 function is disrupted. Investigating the intricacies of TOB2 in various biological contexts continues to be a promising area of study, contributing to the broader field of molecular biology and therapeutic innovation.
