Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TOB1 (transducer of MITF and BRAFV600E) is a critical protein involved in various cellular processes, particularly those related to cancer biology and gene regulation. Its role as a regulator of MITF (Microphthalmia-associated Transcription Factor) suggests a significant involvement in melanocyte function and proliferation, making TOB1 an important focus in melanoma research. Mutations and aberrant expression of MITF and its regulatory pathways are often observed in melanoma, highlighting the relevance of TOB1 in tumorigenesis. Studies have shown that TOB1 can influence signaling pathways associated with growth and survival, thereby impacting cancer cell behavior and treatment response. The growing interest in TOB1 arises from its potential as a therapeutic target, with researchers exploring its mechanistic pathways to identify novel intervention strategies. Furthermore, understanding TOB1's molecular interactions and its effects on cellular processes may provide insights into the development of innovative treatments for melanoma and other cancers where TOB1 plays a pivotal role. As the landscape of cancer research evolves, the characterization and modulation of TOB1 could lead to breakthroughs in targeted therapies and improved patient outcomes.
