  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

PMFBP1 (Pumilio and Fem-3 Binding Protein 1) is a critical protein involved in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Understanding the function of PMFBP1 has garnered significant interest in the research community, particularly due to its potential implications in cancer biology and developmental disorders. Studies have shown that PMFBP1 interacts with RNA-binding proteins and plays a role in post-transcriptional regulation, influencing the stability and translation of target mRNAs. The ability of PMFBP1 to modulate gene expression patterns makes it a crucial player in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Additionally, aberrations in PMFBP1 expression have been associated with several malignancies, highlighting its relevance as a potential biomarker or therapeutic target. Recent advancements in recombinant protein technology have enabled the production of PMFBP1 in vitro, facilitating detailed structural and functional analyses. By examining the recombinant PMFBP1, researchers aim to elucidate its mechanisms of action, understand its interactions with other cellular components, and explore its role in disease states. This research is expected to provide valuable insights into the therapeutic potential of targeting PMFBP1 in various pathologies, making it an exciting area of investigation in molecular biology and medicine.
